Accurate in the 3D archery course

Have you already spotted the ibex on the rock or the bear behind the next tree? On the 3D archery course around the Ötscher you have to keep your ears and eyes open! Always keep the bow taut and take the shooting position. Such a bow course is not for the faint of heart! In the Ötscher village of Lackenhof, guests with a sense of purpose can dedicate themselves to archery over a total of four kilometers.

The 3D archery course awaits beginners with numerous innovations, families and professionals can go hunting with bow and arrow.

There are 52 3D targets to hit on the new, completely revised route. The two main routes "Eibenkogl" and "Fuchswald" have been divided into two smaller rounds this year, so there are now a total of four rounds available. Note: blue markings in the forest indicate the "Eibenkogl" circuit, red markings indicate the "Fuchswald" circuit. 

To prevent the course from becoming a hurdle race, there is a spacious practice area for all beginners at the start. Numerous targets and plenty of space are available for shooters to practice. 

Another new feature of the 3D archery course is the "Bogenschenke" - a drinks machine that invites visitors to linger and refresh themselves.

Tickets can currently be purchased on site at the ticket machine or in our online store. This is located at the umbrella bar in Weitental.

Opening hours:

The archery course is open till 31.October from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm! Please note the duration of the walking time before the start of your planned round!

Hire times:

Bows and arrows can be rented during the rental times from May 1st. You will find them at the lift ticket office in Weitental next to the umbrella bar! Click here for the rental times.

Tip: With the "Wilde Wunder Card" the entrance to the 3D archery course is free of charge. How do you get the card? If you stay at one of the approximately 65 Wilde Wunder hosts, you get the card for free at check-in.

Good to know: The equipment for the recreational fun can be rented on site from Hochkar & Ötscher Tourismus GmbH at the Schirmbar in Weitental.
