Museum

Description

Under the motto "Old craftsmanship - new life" master carpenter Karl Teufel shows every Thursday in the former elementary school Lackenhof many tools from the craft of carpenters and joiners, which were also used by the woodcutters of that time. How these tools are still used productively today can be seen at various demonstrations. In addition, various pictorial material documents the history of the development of the tools.
In addition, the Otscherbär and numerous other prepared native animals convey educational information from the world of fauna.

In addition to the museum "Altes Handwerk - neu gelebt" (Old Craftsmanship - New Life), which has now been in existence for 3 years, there is also a special exhibition on "The Cow as a Draught Animal".
A cow with attached dung sled in original size, many A3 pictures with cow and other carriages and its associated explanations are presented since November 2017 with guided tours.
